( I ) WELCOME Thank you for visiting the Tuliyollal Open World Market! A vibrant sea-side area in the heart of Tuliyollal, where merchants, travellers, and everything in between gather to trade, mingle, and weave stories. Please read through the rules below to ensure a smooth, fun, and respectful experience for everyone attending, both vendors and guests alike.
( II ) DISCRETION IS ADVISED This event occurs in the grand city-nation of Tuliyollal that is built on terraced slopes beside the coast, and home to a rich mix of clans, races, and magical traditions. Because this is an open world gathering and not strictly an 18+ zone, we ask all participants to keep things within communal bounds. While mature themes may naturally emerge (crime, illicit trading, etc.), this is not a fully adult-only event so please make sure to use discretion and keep things appropriate for public view.
( III ) COMMUNITY CONDUCT We have a zero-tolerance policy for: Bigotry of any kind (racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.), Inappropriate targeting of characters (e.g., Lalafell lewding of ANY kind), Harassment, griefing, ongoing dramaViolations will lead to immediate action: you may be asked to leave the event, placed on a watch-list, or excluded from future markets.
( IV ) CONFLICT & COMBAT The market grounds, especially in Tuliyollal’s harbor-side terraces and bustling stalls, are meant for socialising and trade. NOT warfare. No fighting, duels, or combat actions may take place on the market grounds. In-character spats or drama can be written or roleplayed verbally, but any physical conflict must be taken outside the event area. If you violate this, your character may be banished from the market (ICly) and you may be removed from the event.
( V ) COMMERCE & CURRENCY Vendors may display items for role-play purposes (IC goods, mystical wares, etc.). However, only actual in-game items may be exchanged for gil. Please ensure there is a valid transaction: a clear exchange of goods for currency. The local Tuliyollal currency is the “pel,” though merchants may accept gil. Respect fair trade and explicit clarity: “I sell this item for X gil/pel” and the buyer pays.
( VI ) BOUNDARIES OF STORYTELLING Tuliyollal thrives on tales of adventure, trade, mischief, and magic. But the Market is a place of life, connection, and celebration, not tragedy.- Storylines that depict graphic harm, forced captivity/servitude, or ritualistic consumption of others are not permitted within the Market grounds.
- Characters should not be treated as property or prey and all interactions must be consensual and respectful of player comfort. While darker personal backstories are welcome, please keep such themes off-screen and out of open-world spaces.
( VII ) VENDORS & STALLS Please keep your stall setup tidy and appropriate for an open-world setting. Avoid oversized mounts, minions, or props that block others’ spaces or visibility. Clearly describe your wares and offerings so patrons can easily engage with your stall. Creativity is encouraged! Add local flair, cultural touches, and spirit to your booth, but keep it respectful and lore-friendly.
( VIII ) PERFORMERS & ENTERTAINMENT Music and storytelling bring Tuliyollal to life, and performers are always welcome! Bards, dancers, and entertainers are encouraged to share their art respectfully. Please avoid excessive noise or repeating loops that may disrupt nearby vendors. In-character tips or donations are welcome but not required. Celebrate each other’s creativity! If you prefer not to hear performances, you can disable them via: System Configuration → Sound Settings → Performance.
( IX ) IMMERSION & COURTESY The Tuliyollal Open World Market is a living, breathing space shared by roleplayers and non-roleplayers alike. Keep OOC chatter to a minimum in /say and /yell channels. Respect public areas and avoid blocking entrances, vendors, or aetherytes. Be mindful of open-world immersion. Use /emotes and /say for RP where possible. If you need to step away, simply use an AFK emote or mark to signal to others.
( X ) NETWORK & CONNECT Mingle, browse, and make connections! Use the opportunity to start new plots, trade stories, or form alliances. Once the market closes, feel free to continue RP or coordinate future scenes through the event Discord.
( XI ) FINAL NOTE Be kind, be creative, and help make Tuliyollal shine. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in being asked to leave or banned from future events.Let’s keep the market a safe, inclusive, and inspiring place for all travelers, merchants, and wanderers alike.
